Supports Mobile Phone Video
The online service
takes footage captured by mobile phones and transfers
it from 3GP format into streaming, Web-friendly Flash
movies.

now supports 3GP, the dominant video format for third
generation mobile phones. With Benchmark Rich Media's
new capability, customers can upload their mobile phone
footage, have it transferred into a Flash-format movie,
and place that streaming video in their email or on
their Websites.

Though the vast majority
of new mobile phones can record video, many consumers

of the MPEG-4 format, and converts it into streaming
Flash video, without losing quality in the transfer
process. Benchmark Rich Media customers can also convert
MPEG, AVI and QuickTime movies into streaming Flash
clips via the site.
